Brazilian Way Trip 2017

This is an incredible opportunity for you to send your son on a trip he will never forget.  Last year, we had 27 people (20 players and 7 adults) that joined this adventure.  Last year’s trip made the front page of the Pensacola News Journal Video for the Brazilian Way Trip 2016
The trip will take place during Thanksgiving Week.  The group will be leaving from Orlando, FL on November 17th and will return on November 24th.  We will be going to a major city called Belo Horizonte. Belo Horizonte has 2 major professional soccer teams Cruzeiro, and Atletico Mineiro.  Both teams play in the first division of Brazilian League where Cruzeiro won 2 out of past 4 Brazilian League. The place we will be staying is called SESC Venda Nova.  There is a wall surrounding the entire complex and the main gate has security 24hrs.  The rooms has a queen size bed and a bunk bed, or 2 bunk beds as well as AC, TV, mini fridge and a bathroom.  The complex has a swimming pool with slides, indoor futsal court, soccer field, a turf field, tennis courts, outdoor futsal courts, restaurant, and convenience stores, all with easy access.  Also, there is a vast green area to explore and see different types of fruits, flowers, and plants. A charter bus will be provided for our transportation anywhere we need to go.  We will be visiting one of the team’s professional facilities.  We will be watching the professional team practice and/or a professional game (if available on that week) in one of the Word Cup stadiums.  We will also be visiting the youth teams facilities. As culture is part of the trip, we will be going to visit a museum that explains the history of the city and state.  Also, we will be going to where Pope John Paul II had a service and do some sightseeing (also with a spectacular view of the city).  The group will have 2 special meals at local restaurants. All You Can Eat Meat (churrascaria) and AYCE Pizza. Soccer will be the main focus for the trip.  We will have training sessions ran by the coaches there, minimum of 2 games against local teams, and night pick up games.  We will be hosted by EABH (American school in Brazil) where all the kids and teachers speak English and they have students from different countries as well. (Check their Facebook page EABH HAWAKS).  TheEABH Athletic Director and head coach for boys and girls soccer is a former college soccer player in the USA at Union College, KY. One of the most important factor of the trip is affordability.  Everyone probably is asking how much this amazing opportunity would cost.  The price includes everything: Airline ticket, accommodations, all meals, transportation, tourism, games, and practices, etc. This will cost approximately $2,199 – 2,599 (final price will depend on the airline ticket. It can vary from time to time, but we will look for the best possible deal).  The only extra cost you will have will be the Passport around $80 (if you don’t have one) and the VISA around $160 (to go to Brazil you need the visa) and if they want to buy any souvenir, drinks, some food while we are sight seeing or touring the city. The good news is that the payment can be broken down; you don’t need to pay everything at once.  A deposit of $200 will be required by May 15th to secure a spot in the group.  The remaining of the balance will be divided in 5 payments from May - November (Each payment will be around $300).  Once I reserve the ticket, it must be paid in full directly with the travel agency.  I will send you all the information and you just need to make a phone call to pay for the ticket. Once again, it is a great experience and a lifetime opportunity to go to a country that breathes soccer and has a different culture than in the USA.  It is also an eye opener for our kids and I guarantee you after this trip they will appreciate a lot what they have here.        I sincerely hope that your player will join us on this experience of a lifetime.  If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to call (850) 454-9254 or send me a message using the form below.
